AMAZON AFFILIATE LINKS
Being Berrak participates in the Amazon Affiliate program. That means if you click on one of my Amazon affiliate links and make a purchase, I receive a small commission. This has no effect on the price you pay, but it helps defray the cost of maintaining this blog. I appreciate you supporting the blog by purchasing through the links I share. All posts containing Amazon affiliate links will note their inclusion.
AMAZON ADS
Per Amazon, the Amazon ads we include on the site do not use personally identifiable information such as name or email to serve interest-based ads. Learn more from Amazon on their Advertising and GDPR compliance page.
PAID PROMOTION
Being Berrak may accept advertising, sponsorship and other forms of compensation. Any such items will be clearly identified to note any such compensation.
Any sponsored posts will be clearly identified as such.
Similarly, I may receive free products, cash, gift cards, services, or admission to an event in exchange for writing about them here on the blog or on social media. I only write about products and services using my personal opinions. All opinions expressed by me on social media and in this blog are my own. Please verify any product claims, statistics or quotes regarding any products or services with their respective provider.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH
By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone. We do not share your data with any advertisers.
HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
