The Neverending EPIC

I don’t know how I do it…but somehow, I end up with a full calendar…all…the…damn…time.  Here’s what my schedule looks like for the next few weeks:

October 9-10th: Liz is going to be in town from Boston which means Friday night shenanigans with Nirmal…which will be followed by a possible horror movie fest at my place. Saturday will be the recovery time.

October 17th – The biggest event of the YEAR! The wedding of LiLu & Maxie. I think the epic recovery that will be needed from this event doesn’t need to be verbalized.

October 24th – Shaun of the Dead at the AFI in Silver Spring with the bro!

SHAUN OF THE DEAD
WARNING: Zombies from the Silver Spring Zombie Walk have threatened to attend the October 24 show!

A surprise hit in 2004 and an enduring cult item since, Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg’s “rom-zom-com”–a romantic comedy, with zombies–remains one of the few successful examples of a film that achieves the tricky balance of horror and comedy. Dumped by his girlfriend, slacker appliance salesman Pegg is so down in the dumps he fails to notice the zombie plague taking over his London neighborhood until one pops up in his backyard. Fortunately, he and his couch potato flatmate Nick Frost prove to be ace zombie dispatchers, when they round up their remaining loved ones to make a final stand at their local pub, the Winchester.

DIR/SCR Edgar Wright; SCR Simon Pegg; PROD Nira Park. UK/France, 2004, color, 99 min. RATED R.

Saturday, October 24, 10:00; Saturday, October 31, 9:45

October 29 – The birthday of the most awesome roomie ever, Stephanie!

October 30-November 1 – BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO FUCKING PSYCHED! The sequel to Boondock Saints, Halloween and awesome shenanigans with Liz and Jordan…It’s going to be EPIC!!! I will be spending Friday exploring Boston while Liz & Jordan are at work so if you have any suggestions, let’s hear it! It’s my first time going there!

November 6 – Camping with the roomies & co. in a cabin somewhere in WV…Horror story plot just writes itself…

Seriously? I have no effing idea how my social calendar fills up but it just does…and honestly?

I wouldn’t trade my life for anything.

What are you looking forward to in the next couple of months?

    1. Hopefully, starting with the Breast Cancer walk in May, next year will be filled with more ‘giving back’ activities.

  3. Shaun of the Dead – best.zombie.flick.ever.

Camping in a cabin = not camping you sissy. Go get a tent. Better yet, everything you have is carried on your back and go into the woods. Only way to camp!

Next little while? Having a good friend visit Canada from Australia. Although she is half Canadian she hasn’t been here in a long, long time. Should be fun.

  4. Camping in a trailer or a cabin is the ONLY way to camp if you ask me (and I am not a city girl) LMAO

Looking forward to my roommates wedding. I’m ready for it to be over with. LOL

  5. I am strong believer that there is no surviving bear attacks. There is only death-by-bear and not being anywhere near where bears are. Taking someone weak with you might only slow the bear down.

  6. Sometimes, having a crazy busy schedule is a fabulous thing. Sometimes, it makes you want to pull out your hair. Let’s hope, for you, this is on the awesome side of things, ha.

Me? I’m heading to Penn State this weekend to party with friends. I *cannot* wait. =) YAY! And I’ll be an aunt within days/weeks. WOOHOO.
