Just Dance 4 – Rickroll Included

Thank you to Ubisoft for sponsoring this post. Please click here to learn more about Ubisoft. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective. #UbiChamps

I dance around in my apartment all the time, sometimes to no music. So when I get a chance to review a game like Just Dance 4 from Ubisoft, I jump on it. It had been a while since I’d used my Kinect when I tried out Just Dance 4 so once I got through the updates, I picked a song and dived into the game.

One of the first things I fell in love with were the characters. Every song in Just Dance 4 has its own character and I gotta tell ya, they’re pretty awesome. Just check out this guy, who happened to rick roll me because I wasn’t paying attention to the song I picked.

In addition to the song and character selection being great, there’s also the workout aspect. I’m someone who gets bored with working out and hates going to the gym. Dancing is always my preferred choice of breaking a sweat, so I was glad that the workout was fun and challenging at the same time.

The BEST part about this game, especially around the holidays, will be the battle rounds. If you’re a fan of movies like Step Up, then deep down, you are dying to have a dance off with someone.

Stop denying it right now.

You can challenge your family members and your friends to a dance battle and go head to head with them to “Never Gonna Give You Up”, “Umbrella” or “Maneater” (In addition to 37 other awesome songs).  Just make sure that there are other people in the room to cheer you on, because it’s not a good dance battle without an audience!

This is one of those games that you will love by yourself, with a friend, or with your family after opening up presents on Christmas day. You might want to do the family pictures before playing the game, because you will break out a sweat!
