I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I’ve never been the girly-girl who has to leave the house wearing makeup because 1) I suck at it and 2) I forget it’s there and rub it all off throughout the course of the day.
When I was 16, my mom told me that I should start wearing makeup to cover up my acne when I went to work since I had to deal with a lot of people. (I don’t get the logic. It made sense to me at 16) So I would leave the house with my face plastered with foundation, blush, eye shadow, and mascara. My mom did my makeup for my senior homecoming and prom. No, I will not share those pictures, because, ohmygod, all the makeup.
So I went through a period of “OMG I’M NEVER WEARING MAKEUP EVER AGAIN.”
Then I found my middle ground.
As “made up” as I get: Eyeshadow, mascara and lip gloss
There are three things I always have in my makeup bag: Eye shadow, lip gloss, and mascara. I also don’t like to spend too much on makeup. You won’t find me spending $30+ on mascara, which is why I fell in love with CoverGirl products and next on my list to try is CoverGirl LashBlast 24HR Mascara*. I usually wear makeup when I’m going out and if I’m wearing mascara, I don’t want it running down my face. I mean, let’s admit it. In DC, I’ll either be sweating it off, laughing till crying or drunkcrying (OK, moving on…).
So, now is a great time to try the CoverGirl LashBlast 24HR Mascara because when you shop at the P&G Store, you’ll get free shipping for all purchases over $25 AND they have these awesome Olympic-themed bundles, which are super-duper for a bargain shopper like me. Let’s not forget that you’ll receive 10% off all items from now until August 31, 2012 so get moving!
I’m a huge fan of P&G products, not just their cosmetics (though I’m looking forward to trying the CoverGirl LashBlast 24HR Mascara).
